Every price includes the tree, planting labor, soil amendment, staking, haul-off, and an establishment warranty. Site preparation along your line adds $8/ft.

What that means per foot

At standard spacing, a 15-gallon privacy hedge runs roughly $105–$120 per linear foot installed. Established 24" box hedges run roughly $265–$310 per foot. Instant 10–12 ft screening in 36" boxes runs roughly $610–$740 per foot, and 13–15 ft estate walls in 48" boxes $1,150–$1,290 per foot. A typical 60-foot backyard line lands anywhere from about $6,500 in starter stock to $45,000+ for an instant wall — which is exactly why we quote from your drawn line instead of a range.

What drives the price

Four things: species (privet and cypress cost less than podocarpus and pittosporum), size at install (the biggest lever — day-one privacy costs more than patience), length of the line (spacing determines tree count), and site work (removal of an old hedge or fence, root barriers near hardscape, irrigation). Access, slopes, and unusual conditions are confirmed before install day — the number holds unless the site genuinely differs from the satellite view.
