Installed price per tree, by container size

Every species costs the same installed at a given size — so you choose on looks, growth, and water, not price. Each tree includes the plant, planting labor, soil amendment, staking, haul-off, and an establishment warranty.

What that means per foot

At typical 3-ft spacing, a 5-gallon row runs about $16 per linear foot installed and a 15-gallon row about $43 per foot. Established 24" box hedges run roughly $145 per foot, and instant 10–15 ft screening in 30–36" boxes $280–$366 per foot. A typical 60-foot backyard line lands anywhere from about $2,820 in starter stock to $22,000+ for an instant wall — which is exactly why we quote from your drawn line, at your chosen spacing, instead of a range.

What drives the price

Three things: size at install (the biggest lever — day-one privacy costs more than patience), length & spacing (they set the tree count — tighter spacing fills in faster but adds trees), and add-ons (headboard, root barriers near hardscape, drip irrigation, mulch). Access, slopes, and unusual conditions are confirmed before install day — the number holds unless the site genuinely differs from the satellite view.
